Our services include wheelchair transportation, stretcher transportation, two-person assist, and ambulatory transportation. We accept Medicaid and work with various insurance providers.

3. Booking and Scheduling

  • Trip requests submitted through our website or by phone are subject to availability and confirmation by our dispatch team.
  • Submitting a trip request does not guarantee service until confirmed by 1st Choice Ambulette Service.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off addresses, appointment times, and any special requirements for your trip.
  • Cancellations should be made as early as possible. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may affect future service availability.

4. Patient and Passenger Responsibilities

  • Passengers must be ready at the scheduled pick-up time and location.
  • Passengers must provide accurate medical and mobility information to ensure appropriate vehicle assignment and safety.
  • Passengers must follow all safety instructions provided by our drivers and staff, including proper use of wheelchair restraints, stretcher safety belts, and vehicle seatbelts.
  • Any disruptive, abusive, or threatening behavior toward our staff may result in refusal or termination of service.

5. Insurance and Payment

  • We accept Medicaid and work with various insurance providers. It is your responsibility to verify that your insurance covers non-emergency medical transportation before booking.
  • If your insurance does not cover the service or if a claim is denied, you may be responsible for payment.
  • For private-pay trips, rates and payment terms will be discussed at the time of booking.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1st Choice Ambulette Service, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services.

While we strive to provide timely and safe transportation, factors beyond our control (such as traffic, weather, or emergencies) may cause delays. We are not liable for missed appointments due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
