Booking & Scheduling
We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance for non-emergency trips. However, we understand that medical needs can be unpredictable. We accept same-day bookings based on availability, so don't hesitate to call even for last-minute needs.
We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. We understand that medical situations can change unexpectedly, so we handle each situation on a case-by-case basis. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee depending on circumstances.
Our Services
We understand that medical appointments can be unpredictable. If your appointment runs long, simply call our dispatch at (516) 674-2300 to update us. We'll adjust your pickup time accordingly. There's no penalty for appointment delays—your health comes first.
Absolutely! We encourage family members or caregivers to accompany patients at no additional charge. Having a familiar face can make the journey more comfortable, especially for elderly or anxious patients.
Door-through-door service means our drivers don't just drop you at the curb. We assist you from inside your home, through doors, down stairs if needed, into our vehicle, and then reverse the process at your destination. This ensures you're safe and supported throughout your entire journey.
Yes, our vehicles accommodate most wheelchair types including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters. Our Braun hydraulic lifts have a generous weight capacity. If you have an oversized wheelchair or concerns, please mention it when booking so we can ensure the right vehicle.
For most medical appointments, we include reasonable wait time in your service. For longer waits (dialysis, chemotherapy, etc.), we offer round-trip service where the driver returns to pick you up. We'll work with you to find the most cost-effective solution.
Payment & Insurance
If you have Medicaid, your non-emergency medical transportation may be covered. You'll need to contact your Medicaid managed care plan to arrange transportation or get prior authorization. We work with most Medicaid plans in New York and can help guide you through the process.
We accept Medicaid (through managed care plans), Medicare (as a secondary payer in some cases), Workers' Compensation, private insurance, major credit cards, and private pay. We can also work with facilities on corporate accounts.
